SDSS is an international no profit organization founded in 1999 and based in Italy.

Its mission is the study, research, dissemination and protection of the historical, cultural, biological and environmental submerged heritage.

Its main activity consists in the documentation, with different systems and methodologies of submerged sites such as historical wrecks, archeological sites, peculiar underwater habitats and sites of concerns for environmental instability, in collaboration with researchers and institutions.

Coral Soul is a non-profit organization dedicated to marine conservation through the restoration of deep coral habitats in the Mediterranean Sea. The initiative integrates scientific research, environmental education, and community involvement to address the decline of marine biodiversity.

Key projects include active restoration actions such as coral nurseries, transplantation, and ecological monitoring — with a focus on vulnerable species like gorgonians. Activities take place in ecologically significant areas, including Punta de la Mona (Spain) and Sardinia (Italy).

Through educational programs and citizen science initiatives, Coral Soul raises awareness about ocean health and fosters active participation from divers, students, and local communities in protecting the sea.
